What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate, lead, coordinate, and support the Emergency Management Department in implementing programs and processes across operating regions in Canada and the United States
- Develop and implement the Multi-Year Exercise Schedule and Program for Liquids Pipelines
- Manage and improve Program Management Tools such as Exercise Tracking and Control Point Management
- Lead the development and implementation of lessons learned from training, exercises, and incidents
- Support the integration of Emergency Management activities for new assets
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree related to Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, or Emergency Response; or an additional 3 years of experience if no degree is held
- Six or more years of directly related experience in emergency response within the oil and gas industry
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, inspire change, and deliver results
- Effective interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional experience in emergency management or related fields
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements within the oil and gas industry
