      Qualifications:

      • Working knowledge of computers
      • Good interpersonal and communication skills
      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

      Special Requirements (i.e., certificates, license, registrations)


      • Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
      • Valid State of CT EMT Certification
      • Valid NREMT Certification
      • Valid BLS Healthcare Provider CPR ( AHA or RedCross )
      • NIMS 100, 200 & 700 Certificates of Completion
      • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine
      • SWORD Opioid Training (We will provide training if you do not have this.)
      • Shall comply with all training requirements as imposed by Federal, State, Local and Medical Control entities

      Responsibilities:

      • Responds to instructions from emergency medical dispatchers and performs assignments in a timely manner.
      • Operates emergency vehicles in accordance with regulations and company policy
      • Assures proper stocking, re-stocking and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment
      • Provides accurate and timely written and typed communication on patient disposition
      • Provides patient assessment, treatment and transport within applicable regulations
      • Responsible for performing various duties at base locations; i.e., general cleanliness of the base location including sleeping quarters
      • Attends company mandated staff sessions
