      Job summary

      With an increasing demand for urgent care, we are seeking the right person to join our workforce within our Walk in Centre. We would welcome applications from Emergency Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners, all based within our Ashford Walk in Centre in Middlesex.

      The Walk in Centre provides access to urgent care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As a clinician within the Walk in Centre, you will work as an independent, autonomous practitioner providing high quality, evidence based, patient centered care. Responsible for utilising expert diagnostic and clinical skills to provide unscheduled medical care and management of a diverse range of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed minor illnesses and injuries.

      There are excellent opportunities for training, including non-medical prescribing, with support and encouragement for your personal development. The post offers staff benefits as well as Agenda for Change, which include a pension scheme or continuation of an NHS pension scheme.

      Part time hours are available over a 7-day week, 365 days a year, working shifts to cover opening hours of 08:00 20:00hrs.

      • Experience of multi-disciplinary working.

      • Registered Nurse Level 1 or HCPC registered paramedic.
      • - Post-registration diploma or equivalent in advanced assessment skills for non-medical practitioners.
      • - Post-registration diploma or equivalent in managing minor injury for advanced practice.
      • - Post-registration diploma or equivalent in managing minor illness/health problems for advanced practice.
      • - ILS or willingness to undertake.
      • - Evidence of continuing professional development
