- Record and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases and gather additional information as necessary u00A0 u00A0
- Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment u00A0 u00A0
- Partner with patient care team regarding treatment plans, client communication and nursing care concerns u00A0 u00A0
- Provide client education including, but not limited to: home care instructions, medications (indications, adverse reactions) and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients u00A0 u00A0
- Assist DVM with patient assessment, treatment and procedures u00A0 u00A0
- Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients u00A0 u00A0
- Induce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation procedures u00A0 u00A0
- Perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testing u00A0 u00A0
- Who you are: u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0
- Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired u00A0 u00A0
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) u00A0 u00A0
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary u00A0 u00A0
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment u00A0 u00A0
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills u00A0 u00A0
