- Responsible for preparing detailed credit analysis on public and private companies and use these to develop actionable views on situations
- Work in close collaboration with the trading team and our partners in risk management & infrastructure to communicate your views on credits in a timely, responsive and proactive way
- Stay on top of company updates, financials and news flows for credits which you agree with the trading and head of analysis
- Help formulate and then represent the Bank’s position during financial restructurings to both company management and other key stakeholders (investment funds, financial advisers)
- Previous relevant experience in credit/ financial analysis at a top tier institution (such as an Investment Bank or Financial Advisory firm)
- Significant (multi-year) front office experience and understanding of credit trading/ investing
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience, at a top tier institution
- Able to synthesise corporate financial data, credit documentation and a wide range of directly relevant sources to perform deep dive analysis of companies
- Interpersonal skills and significant experience in communicating your views clearly to internal and external stakeholders, and ability to utilise these interactions to challenge and refine your own views

The Emerging Market Distressed Debt business is an analysis led group and your output will be a key factor in the direction of the business. You will work within the wider analyst team in the Distressed Product Group (DPG) Europe, which has a 25 year track record of success within the Bank.
This is a role with significant amounts of external dialogue, you will interact and collaborate daily with senior management at our clients and other distressed debt market practitioners.
