      Description

      These roles will be supporting engineering development, integration, test and transition to production efforts on complex electronic modules. Candidates will provide EMI design as part of the engineering development team, testing, analysis on highly complex and safety critical electronics.

      The successful candidates must possess strong technical aptitude, communication skills and ability to work cross functionally within the hardware organization and with other engineering disciplines/functions. Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment in technical areas.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Associates degree in electronics technology with 5 years job experience or equivalent. Equivalent military training and work experience in the EMI discipline may be considered.

      • Participate in the EMI test reviews

      • Set up the equipment under test (EUT) and related test cables as defined in the EMI test procedure

      • Initiate and maintain and EMI test log

      • Provide operation of the EMI test equipment in accordance with the EMI test plan

      • Initiate and maintain an EMI test notebook containing EMI data sheets, EMI checklists, EMI test data and other pertinent test information

      • Complete the test data sheet as defined by EMI test plan

      • Assembly and Disassembly of the EMI test set up

      • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in test to MIL-STD-461 (A-G), RTCA/DO-160 (C-G)

      • Strong knowledge of RF principles

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
