- Set up and maintain personnel files and records, including new hires, status changes, and terminations for employees; maintain the E-file system.
- Perform data entry into HRIS, as well as the approval path for entries made by outside stakeholders.
- Generate and ensure compliance with all external correspondence related to employment (EDD/unemployment claims, employee verifications, intent to return/assurance letters, benefit status letters, vaccination records).
- Generate and ensure compliance with all Aspire employment status-related letters (offer letters, onboarding materials, status changes, Department of Justice notifications).
- Work closely with payroll and our HRIS team to support the employee lifecycle.
- TB for new hires and existing hires. Ensure that data is being reviewed monthly
- u00A0I-9 verifications and data maintenance.
- As a custodian of record ensure that subsequent arrests are being reviewed by the Sr. Director of Employee Service and Legal Counsel.
- Maintain the DOJ billing processing and reporting.
- Maintain the DOJ/TB clearances for volunteers.
- Manage Audits, including generating data and reports. Review/audit records for accuracy to ensure compliance to Aspire policies and all state and federal legal requirements.
- Manage Background check clearance for new hires
- Generate Affidavits
- SafeSchools manage deployment on a yearly basis, reporting, compliance and support with inquiries.
- Manage the processing of all New Teacher Residents full cycle, including sending onboarding, overseeing compliance, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Manage compliance for volunteers and work with Business Managers to ensure compliance.
- Provide elite customer service to Aspire Employees, by responding to Zendesk, as well as inter-departmental services to other teams (recruiting, regional managers) and external stakeholders (payroll, finance, etc).
- Collaborate with the Employee Services team to update the MyAspire intranet.
- Demonstrate knowledge of, and support, the Aspire Public Schools mission, vision, value statements, including antiracism, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavioru00A0
- Must be able to work from the Home Office once a week to support mail distribution related to HR.

- Experience in HR administrative systems
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices

- Must be able to travel occasionally, with out-of-state travel being a possibility
- Knowledge of UltiPro or comparable employee tracking systems a plus
- A.A. degree, HR certification program, or equivalent years of experience in the HR function
- 2+u00A0 years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, and/or Payroll
- Understanding of general employment guidelines at the state and federal levels
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 public education
