      About Uber Freight

      The Employee Experience Coordinator III provides the HR support to our rapidly growing organization and People team. You will be responsible for working with the Employee Experience Team, IT department, and various business leaders within Uber Freight, contributing to the support of building our talent pipeline.

      You will report directly to the Associate Manager, Employee Experience. The role is based in one of our main COEs and will support other parts of the business in the US and Canada.

      What the Candidate Will Do

      • Support a positive employee experience by communicating HR policies, practices, and procedures to all employees through the HR system
      • Assist with leave administration as employees transition to short term and long term disability. This includes managing leave and return dates, documentation, and any accommodation requests.
      • Administer and process employee life events for new hires and other qualifying events. Obtain necessary documentation, understand implications and process within the HRIS system and corresponding vendors
      • Create reports on emerging trends and issues in tickets in collaboration with the HRIS and IT teams
      • Manage and update team collaboration tools and company policy portal
      • Assist other HR leaders and the Employee Experience Team where necessary in administering HR policies, processes, and programs

      Basic Qualifications

      • High school diploma or GED equivalent
      • 2 years’ experience in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree
      • Knowledge of Benefit processes, programs, and practices
      • Attention to detail, able to multi-task and prioritize
      • Excellent employee focus and follow up
      • Ability to handle data confidentiality
      • Time management, written and verbal communication skills are critical to the success of this role
      • Intermediate skills in Excel and proficiency in all other Microsoft Office products
