      We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to join our dynamic and fully remote North American HR team. This role is designed for a professional who excels in high-pressure environments, possesses a deep understanding of both the strategic and practical aspects of employee relations, and is capable of managing complex and sensitive employee issues from initiation to resolution with confidence and expertise.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Own and resolve Tier 3 ER cases using ServiceNow or a similar case management system

      • Investigate independently or with partners, draft and review documentation, provide sound guidance to employees and leaders, and ensure fair and consistent policy application.

      • Work closely with internal/external legal advisors, HRBPs, and other cross-functional teams.

      • Offer high-touch support in emotionally charged situations and provide feedback loops post-resolution.

      • Manage a high volume of service requests through a self-directed queue system.

      • Contribute to project work and process improvements within the ER function.

      • Participate in weekly 1:1s with a supportive, non-micromanaging manager who values flexibility and work-life balance.

      The ideal candidate:

      • A seasoned ER professional with 5+ years in Human Resources, including significant case investigation and resolution experience—ideally from fast-moving, dynamic industries like retail or tech.

      • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/French) highly preferred.

      • Comfortable working independently and remotely in a high-trust environment.

      • Skilled in navigating high-stakes employee issues without losing sight of fairness, business priorities, or policy.

      • Able to balance reactive case management with proactive trend analysis and policy insight.

      • Familiar with tools like Workday, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.

      • Bonus: Experience in union environments or shared services settings, and professional HR certifications (PHR/SPHR/CHRP).

      Reasonably expected salary range: $91,100.00 - $121,400.00
