- Develops and maintains trusting relationships with staff and management
- Responds to unemployment inquiries and provides reporting on unemployment claims and keeps the ER Consultant up to date on the status of cases.
- Works closely with the TA group, OCC Health and the review committee to determine if new hires’ medical and religious exemptions are approved. Answers questions that new hires may have.
- Assists with planning events including Employee Appreciation Week, Distinguished Ambassador Dinner and employee retirement receptions
- Reporting and involvement with employee perks such as the YMCA and Early Learning Indiana and Vizient programs.
- Administers the Colleague Cares program, providing quarterly reports to the Manager, Employee Relations and Benefits, Payroll for tax withholding, and the Eskenazi Health Foundation for reimbursement.
- Assists with training of new leaders on the Corrective Action Workflow in Sucessfactors.
- Coordinates with the Payroll Department on PTO donations, reviewing the 3rd Party Administrative reports to substantiate the leaves.
- Assists with following up with new hires to get them enrolled in the benefit offerings immediately to avoid coverage lapses and retro premiums.
- Responds to benefit inquiries, assisting employees with uploading documents and with benefits new hire enrollment and life event changes
- Follows up on obtaining waivers for employees who are switching from benefit eligible to PRN and monthly and annual look back period medical plan offerings
- Assists with annual open enrollment
- Assists with the Social Security number and name corrections for the ADP/ACA 1095C program
- Provides the monthly leader report to IT for the file feed for the 3rd party FMLA vendor
- Provides backup on the administration of the Tuition Reimbursement Program
- Provides backup to the Human Resources Administrative Specialist
- Responds to HR Shared Services employee requests for information within 2 business days
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Strong computer/technical skills, previous HRIS experience preferred

Job Requirements
Accredited Bachelor’s degree; OR four (4) or more years of experience in Human Resources is required
