      We’re hiring an Employee Residence Attendant to Live. Work. Explore. at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon!

      Job Summary:.
      Perform cleaning, light maintenance, and enforcement of company policy in assigned housing areas on a daily basis.

      The Details:
      Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
      Pay: $16.05 per hour
      Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

      Responsibilities

      • Cleaning of assigned housing facilities and areas, including but not limited to laundry facilities, grounds maintenance and snow removal in assigned areas.
      • Assist with the moving of furnishings or employee belongings, and dispose of trash as directed.
      • Report maintenance problems and other needed work in employee housing facilities including paint requests, carpet cleaning, etc.
      • Assist with inspection of individual apartments as residents move or terminate employment, to ensure the space is clean and free of damage.
      • Order needed supplies through the Housing Administrator.
      • Assist in reading propane meters on a monthly basis.
      • Enforce Employee Housing Department and company policies and procedures.
      • Perform special projects as assigned by Housing Management, the Human Resources Director or Assistant Director.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      • Possess or obtain a valid Arizona’s Driver’s License within 90 days of start date and comply with the Xanterra South Rim Company Vehicle Policy.
      • Must have ability to work independently with limited supervision.
      • Must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
      • Must have willingness to work varied hours including nights and weekends.
      • Must have good judgment, flexibility and diplomacy.
