      This position will assist with administrative duties and call center operations at Hershey Entertainment Complex for the following departments; Attractions, Food & Beverage, Games, Guest Experience, Retail, Safety & Security, Park Services, and Wardrobe. In this role, team members will be responsible for assisting with general administrative office work, making and answering phone calls and emails, greeting/assisting employees and employee partners, and providing assistance as it pertains to their weekly schedule. In addition, this position will also assist with meeting volunteers and temporary staff for each shift and accurately logging and processing information in the appropriate databases.

      Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

      • Handling a high volume of in-coming and out-going phone calls*

      • Responding to written and verbal inquiries relating to events, schedules, policies, and procedures*

      • Processing employee schedule changes, shift switches, and communicating updates to employees, supervisors, and department managers*

      • Processing employee attendance infractions counseling employees on their attendance records and applying progressive disciplinary procedures*

      • Assisting with the coordination of supplemental staffing programs*

      • Assisting with answering questions related to payroll for part-time employees

      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Qualifications:

      • Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to quickly learn other computer-based applications and databases

      • Must have proven excellent verbal and written communication skills

      • Must be innovative and be self-motivated to complete tasks

      • Must be detail-oriented with proven organizational skills

      • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

      • Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information

      • Must have the ability to work without a conflict of interest

      Job Demands:

      • Must be available year-round at least two (2) days and 10 hours per week including at least two Saturdays and Sundays per month, and holidays (up to four (4) days and 32 hours may be available during some months of the year)

      • Must be able to work shifts up to nine (9) hours between the hours of 6am and 11pm (some shifts during weekdays may be available in the evenings/nights for candidates unavailable during the day)

      • Typical shifts will occur mostly indoors; however, performing some duties; such as meeting volunteers will require walking outside for periods of time in various weather conditions

      • Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking up and down up to two (2) flights of stairs, walking and lifting and carrying a minimum of 20 pounds
