We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employer Inclusion Liaison to support competitive, integrated employment for individuals with disabilities, particularly those employed in or considering subminimum wage positions. This is a mobile role where you will be embedded with our business partner and work closely with them at their four locations: Northeast Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, Aston, and Allentown.

As part of our commitment to advancing Employment First, the Employer Inclusion Liaison will help identify and address barriers that hinder access and inclusion for job seekers with disabilities. You will act as a consultant to our business partner as well as outreach for future opportunities, offering guidance on creating a more accessible and inclusive workplace, and providing hands-on support as an onsite job coach to individuals with disabilities.

This position is ideal for a leader who is adaptable, solution-oriented, and passionate about creating inclusive workplaces while driving meaningful change in employment practices for individuals with disabilities.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Provide on-site support at the Designated Employer’s (DE) facility, assisting in making business practices accessible to individuals with disabilities and promoting DE’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts.
      • Work with the DE to deliver pre-planning, onboarding, sensitivity training for co-workers, and problem resolution.
      • Collaborate daily with the onsite Employment Support Specialist to manage the day-to-day management of the non-traditional employment support program.
      • Coordinate job exploration activities such as worksite tours, job shadows, and Community-Based Work Assessments (CBWAs).
      • Assist in identifying potential job openings and customized positions, particularly for InVEST participants.
      • Review DE’s recruitment, application, and onboarding processes to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
      • Provide ADA accessibility assessments for DE’s physical locations and recommend Universal Design strategies to enhance efficiency and accessibility.
      • Facilitate the coordination of accommodations for InVEST Project participants and maintain ongoing communication with DE, OVR, and other team members.
      • Lead the delivery of Disability Awareness Training to DE’s employees.
      • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Employment Support Specialists, advocacy groups, and school districts, to enhance employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
      • Maintain accurate records, manage service tracking, and provide monthly reports to support Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
      • 3 years’ experience in Supported Employment services.
      • Candidates must be ACRE certified or have their Certified Employment Support Professional accreditation from APSE.
      • Experience in Customized Employment and Self-Employment supports.
      • Have and maintain numerous business and community contacts.
      • Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

      Additional Information:

      • Supervisory Responsibility: None
      • Location: Embedded within employer facilities; travel may be required
      • Compensation: Commensurate with experience
      • How to Apply: Submit your resume and cover letter via [insert application link] or to [insert email].

Join us in making a positive impact by promoting inclusive, integrated employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities!
