- Leading strategic job development and job placement planning activities across region
- Initiating employer contacts at all levels of organizations
- Developing job leads in numerous industries at all levels of organizations
- Assisting community organizations that participate in the Employment Collaborative with making job placements.
- Presenting information to Corporations, Chambers of Commerce, Employment Associations and other local organizations
- Implementing job search and placement best practices, placement strategies, activities and events to increase employment outcomes
- This is a 6-month, temporary position.
- Candidates from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Hampshire will be considered.

Employer Liaison - Part Time, Temporary 6 Month Position
Join our Team as a Part-Time Employer Liaison! A Successful candidate will be professional and have a desire to make a difference by helping to increase employment outcomes for people with disabilities. Must be an initiative-taker, flexible, enthusiastic, creative, and comfortable working autonomously.Overview of the Employment CollaborativesThe Employment Collaboratives are a consortium of state agencies and human service providers, employers, workforce development organizations, and employment service providers. WMEC works across these groups with the common goal of increasing employment opportunities for individuals across all disabilities. Their efforts focus on broadening the types of employers providing opportunities for the individuals they serve and enhancing access to career-oriented training and resources. Riverside started the Collaborative program in 2009 focusing on the Central MA area to streamline the process of finding and hiring individuals with disabilities. After award-winning success in that region, we were asked to expand the program in many additional parts of the state. We are incredibly proud of this program and the impact it has in the communities we serve. In FY 2019 alone, more than eight hundred individuals found employment through these services.Primary responsibilities include assisting the Project Coordinator by:Schedule: Part-time 20 - 25 hours a week with flexible scheduling.
Pay Rate: $26.51/hourly
Location: Primarily remote with occasional travel required within Massachusetts.
