      Employment Coordinator

      The purpose of this job is to assist in the coordination and administration of applicants through the employment office. Will greet and assist candidates in the application process and pre-employment assessments. Responsible for verifying Austin work history, craft certifications, and informing candidate of manpower needs relative to their craft. Responsible for initiating the hire in process upon job offer made by recruiter and ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate. Responsible for preparing office for business opening and ensuring manpower needs on kiosks and TV displays are accurate.

      Specific Duties and Responsibilities

      • Greet candidates in the lobby, control flow of traffic, assist with applications and pre-employment assessments.
      • Inform applicants of manpower needs relative to their craft, verify Austin work history, pre-employment assessment results and craft certifications, and refer qualifying candidates to recruiters.
      • Maintain employee-owners records including but not limited to I-9 form, W4 form, and all other employee related documents, ensuring all forms are filled out correctly.
      • Communicate the status of the employee-owner to recruitment by updating the applicant management database and sending out status notifications, as needed.
      • Assist recruiters and medical department with various administrative tasks, as needed.
      • Responsible for providing ad hoc reports to craft recruiting manager, as needed.
      • Answer telephones and emails in a timely manner, direct phone calls to appropriate parties.

      Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications Required for this Position

      Education – High School Diploma

      Experience – 1-3 years’ experience in high volume customer service environment
