Job Description

- Assist attorneys in employment law matters, including workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, wage & hour violations, and compliance matters.
- Support personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, workplace injuries, and wrongful death claims.
- Conduct legal research on employment and personal injury laws, statutes, and case precedents.
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as demand letters, pleadings, discovery responses, employment contracts, and settlement agreements.
- Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and compliance.
- Assist with discovery processes, including document review, deposition summaries, and evidence gathering for both employment and personal injury cases.
- Coordinate witness interviews, expert consultations, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progression.
- Assist in litigation support, including e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Review and summarize medical records, employment documents, and other relevant evidence.
- Work with a highly respected legal team with decades of experience in employment law, labor law, and personal injury in Texas.

- Education: Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification from an accredited program.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in employment law, and personal injury experience in Texas.
- Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, and labor law regulations.
- Familiarity with personal injury case processes, including demand drafting, settlement negotiations, and litigation support.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software.
- Excellent legal writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Experience with e-discovery, document review, and trial preparation.
- Strong client service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
