      A well-established law firm in Sacramento is seeking a dedicated and motivated Employment Single Action Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The firm focuses on employment litigation, handling workplace retaliation, harassment, unpaid wages, leaves of absence, and wrongful termination cases. The candidate will work on high-stakes litigation, aiming for substantial settlements and verdicts.

      Duties:

      • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents for case progression.
      • Develop strategic plans for case resolution efficiently and cost-effectively.
      • Lead depositions and communicate with opposing counsel.
      • Manage mediations and negotiate to resolve disputes.
      • Represent clients in employment-related legal matters with persuasive arguments.

      Requirements:

      • Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
      • At least 4 years of experience in employment litigation.
      • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
      • Creative and strategic problem-solving abilities.
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
      • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.

      Education:

      • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

      Certifications:

      • Licensed to practice law in California.

      Skills:

      • Advanced legal writing and communication skills.
      • Deep understanding of employment law and litigation procedures.
      • Negotiation, mediation, and trial preparation expertise.
      • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cases.
