The EMR Systems Analyst - HIM Support p lays a critical role in ensuring the timeliness of EMR documents by means of hands-on assistance in priority indexing and uploading, processing of documents pended in upload, scanning, indexing and QA review queues and similar priority HIM work queues .

The EMR Systems Analyst – HIM Support is responsible for the identification, analysis and/or resolution of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) quality control indexing, upload, distribution and/or related document processing issues. Additional r esponsibilities inc lude being a resource for less senior staff requiring assistance and/or training needed to ensur e chart processing tasks are completed timely and accurately .

Skilled position requiring two (2) years of health information management or related technical experience to acquire the requisite knowledge and skills to efficiently perform assigned job . Candidate must have e xcellent PC knowledge and skills including proficiently and independently working HIM quality control indexing and upload queues, priority work queues and related time limited tasks . Previous HIM document processing experience and proficiency required .
