Job Description
- Req#: 12164
- Deliver didactic and laboratory instruction in Endodontics within the predoctoral curriculum.
- Supervise third- and fourth-year dental students in the clinical comprehensive care programs.
- Participate in course development and delivery of lectures, seminars, and hands-on training.
- Contribute to the school's academic mission through scholarly activity and committee participation.
- Engage in administrative duties related to academic and clinical operations.
- Support the continuous development and assessment of the Endodontics curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure quality patient care and educational outcomes.
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree or equivalent international degree.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Interest in teaching pediatric endodontics.
- Certificate of training from an ADA-accredited Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), General Practice Residency (GPR), or equivalent advanced degree.
- Eligible for licensure in New York State.
- Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently and in collaboration with teams.
- Commitment to developing positive, collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Overview
Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM) at New York Medical College invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position in the Division of Endodontics. We seek a dynamic and experienced individual to provide predoctoral education in didactic, preclinical, and clinical settings in the field of endodontics, with the ability to teach with a focus in pediatric endodontics.
