Performs routine scrub as well as specifically delegated duties according to AORN standards and established policies and procedures of the department of surgery. Assist in circulation duties and in the maintenance of a safe environment for all. Keeps current with operating room techniques, procedures, instruments, supplies and equipment.THE ENDOSCOPY TECH FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.Education: 1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2. Graduate of an approved operating room technical program preferred.Experience: 1. One or more years experience as an OR Surgical Technologist preferred. 2. Membership in CST association preferred.Other Qualifications: 1. Current BLSQualifications

Responsibilities
Perform terminal cleaning of the operating room and prepares rooms for new patients. Cleans and re-makes patient stretchers and beds and responsible for assigned areas for restocking and cleanliness. Participates in OR suite turnovers between cases. Delivers specimens, labs, blood to and from OR. Transport patients as directed by a nurse. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required per policy. All other duties as assigned.
