Are you a recent engineering graduate eager to embark on an exciting journey in the energy sector? Look no further! The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) invites you to join our newly established Engineering-in-Training Program—a dynamic learning and development environment designed for the next generation of engineering leaders. The successful candidate will be part of a team of almost 100 engineering roles regulating oil and gas and new energy operations in Alberta through the project life cycle of application to closure.
The successful candidate will participate in an 18-month training program which will provide exposure to difference aspects of the AER mandate and will involve a rotational aspect to ensure a fulsome experience including office and field operations. The first 6 months of the program will be in the Technical Sciences & External Innovation (TS&EI) Branch, with a focus on data analysis, reporting and how information can be used to inform different operational areas.
