Conduct engineering studies for energy-saving projects and develop technical reports.
Compute energy savings by applying standard engineering principles, including physics, mechanics, fan laws, thermodynamics, algebra, and statistics. Review technical reference manuals and evaluation reports from different jurisdictions.
Perform energy audits without supervision.
Analyze logged and sub-metered energy consumption data.
Author IPMVP-compliant M&V plans and reports.
Evaluate innovative technologies and determine suitability for DSM programs.
Develop and deliver technical training on various energy conservation measures.
Lead client and customer engagements and effectively present technical information.
An undergraduate Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)
4+ years in energy management or related experience
Energy auditing experience at commercial and industrial facilities
Ability to travel within the province and nation wide (5-10%)
Professional Engineering license (P. Eng.)
Measurement & Verification certification (CMVP or equivalent)
A graduate/post-graduate degree related to energy engineering, management or science
Experience in working with utility-driven energy conservation programs
Familiarity with energy data logging and sub-metering

Join our team of mission-driven energy engineers dedicated to advancing energy conservation programs and projects. As an Energy Engineer-III, you will contribute to energy savings and emissions reduction initiatives through engineering calculations, energy modelling, data analysis and measurement and verification (M&V) activities. You will explore the demand-side management (DSM) potential of innovative technologies and help develop measures for utility programs.
This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial end-uses, while honing your skills in technical report writing and client engagement. It’s an exciting opportunity to grow as an energy engineer and make a meaningful impact in the energy conservation field at a time of ever-increasing energy demand.

$95,000-$105,000
Please Note:
This is a remote position , with a strong preference for those in the western provinces able to travel for client site visits.
For successful candidates who are registered as Engineers-in-Training and actively pursuing their Professional Engineering license, the role will be reclassified as Energy Analyst III, with a corresponding salary adjustment.
