      Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

      Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities.       BAE Systems is looking for a strong candidate who develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. In this Second Shift, Part-time role, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

      • Working in a manufacturing environment performing general lab support including, debug of defective products, repair test stations and interface test adaptors, drive quality, cost and schedule to ensure optimum performance. Developing test procedures and debug documents.

      • Data collection and trend analysis for production hardware to drive root cause and corrective action.

      • Leading and mentoring technicians and junior engineers while overseeing complex projects.

      • Serving as a technical liaison with design, test, quality, reliability and program engineering to drive continuous improvements throughout the entire test process.

      • Understanding of ESS testing and defects.

      Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

      Required Skills and Education

      • BS degree in Engineering or related technical field is required plus 3-4 years related experience; Masters with 2 years experience; or Associates degree in a technical field with 6 years experience. 8-10 years related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
      • Critical understanding of RF/Microwave test and design concepts.
      • Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently and also collaboratively on a team.
      • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to peers within the production process across departments.

      Preferred Skills and Education

      • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus 4 or more years in RF/Microwave test and design.
