Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

BAE Systems is hiring for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer to work in our Nashua NH Location. This is a Monday to Thursday 1st shift four ten-hour days position with every weekend providing a three-day work life balance.
A Semiconductor Equipment Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the machinery that produces semiconductor components. They will perform Advanced troubleshooting of Semiconductor equipment using Electronic and Mechanical skills in our Lexington MA and Nashua NH facilities. Candidate will work in the Metals deposition or Dry chemistry area of the Semiconductor cleanroom. They must understand the workings of Chemical Vapor deposition, Dry Etch, Physical Vapor deposition, and or metal Evaporation systems. The Job will require a detailed understanding of electronics theory and Practice. Skills should include Vacuum system, plumbing, Gas Delivery system, computer skills and Robotics. You will be responsible for leading and training of technicians on troubleshooting equipment used to manufacture Gallium Arsenide and Gallium Nitride semiconductor integrated circuits. The job will require you to work with Process engineers and vendors to solve any issues on equipment so Manufacturing can stay on schedule. The Job will require writing Procedures, scheduling Preventative Maintenance in PROMIS, and analysis of data logs from tool software.
The Job has an excellent work life balance that consists of working 10-hour days Monday through Thursday with occasional extra time and weekend work requirements. The job requires the ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation. Must have good communications skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with other teams and document technical information. You will be required to communicate to the Process group and external vendors.
The job requires supporting and managing equipment upgrades and new tool installations to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. Candidate must have technical expertise of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques. A Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex equipment issues.Job Title
