Job Description

- Assists in serviceability desktop review for residential and commercial individual location requests using current tools and process to resolve within departmental SLA (Service Level Agreement). Provides cost estimates based on automated tools and basic routing.
- Provides administrative support for desktop surveys for coax SMB (Small and Medium Business), fiber (Metro E), requested by Sales teams.
- Provides support for walkout management for purposes of ROE (Right of Entry), customer requests, etc.
- Assists ancillary tools for automated survey process for coax (SMB), fiber (Metro E).
- Effectively communicates with internal customers and functional teams to supply most accurate resolution.
- Participates in the design of broadband communication systems using various design software packages. Reviews layout designs for coaxial and fiber placement and fiber routing and connectivity. Verifies that walkout packages are in adherence to regional hybrid fiber coax (HFC) architecture and design specifications and processes HFC span replacements.
- Assists in conducting analysis to determine efficiency, equipment economy, and systems operation simplicity.
- Reviews field engineering surveys including OSP design for Aerial/Underground routing of approved Construction projects in relationship to Pre-Design/Pre-field as well as Make Ready/Permitting requirements.
Draw accurate routing conclusions that reflect cost estimate for the availability request.
Works closely with external vendors to facilitate OSP walkout, permitting, pre-field. QC of the vendor submissions for invoice approval and reconciliation.
Processes HFC SMB and small plant extensions. Prepares files and assigns to business partner in P2. Receives files and QC in Spatial.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
