Position Overview

L&T Technology Services is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & delivers within timelines is essential. The candidate will have excellent communications skills.

Position Responsibilities and Requirements

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design Electrical Distribution System for process plant.
• Prepare / Review specification for Electrical Distribution - Transformers, MV and LV Switchgear, Motors, Distribution boards.
• Calculations - MV and LV Cable sizing, grounding, short circuit calculations, Lighting Calculations, Cable Tray Sizing etc.
• Design Electrical Detailed deliverables for process plants - Single line drawings, Electrical Equipment layout, Cable Tray layout, Grounding Layout, Lighting Layout, Protection scheme Prepare Bill of Materials for the project.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Proven competence as an electrical engineer with eight to fifteen years of experience
• A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
• Work experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries is required.
• Possess a thorough understanding of electrical manufacturing processes;
• Has practical expertise with design and calculation software;
• Has an awareness of electrical engineering regulations and safety standards;
• Can solve problems on the spot;
• Pays close attention to detail; and
• Should be able to work independently after receiving inputs.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
