Purpose of the position

a. This position is responsible for;
Lead NPI projects for HV battery system and subsystems development with
Close supplier engagement and CFTs for HV battery development, integration on vehicle and delivery as per project timeline
Develop and support HV battery verification, validation and integration strategy, and testing from prototype phase through to homologation and field issue resolution
b. Unable to or delay in delivering NPI project for HV battery

Relevant Experience :
Minimum experience requirement: 2-8 years
Working knowledge requirement: HV battery technology, latest technology/ regulations, benchmark knowhow, EV Powertrain basic concepts and principles, NPI lifecycle management, Project delivery experience
Key Responsibilities:

1Contribution to planning
Prepare detailed aggregate development time plan in line with vehicle SOP
Plans design maturity as per project gateway integration requirements
Plans aggregate DVP executionPlans technical discussions, review meetings with supplier and CFTs to ensure delivery as per project timeline 1) Timely releases as per agreed timelines
2) Quality of releases (Design/calibration errors, BOM accuracy etc.,)
3) Contribution to VAVE
4) Field issues resolution
5) Contribution to innovations / IPR
2Key actions and decisions (Long term and Short term)
Work closely with supplier to lead HV battery development, design review, test plan and field issues resolution
Work closely with CFTs for resolving integration, assembly, serviceability issues and adherence to time, cost and quality targets
Knowledge of CAD software and PLM systems
Check compliance to Indian and International design & testing standards, TML standards
Prepares necessary technical documentation for DR gateways & ESO –eg. RFQ, DVP, DFMEA, 8DSupport component verification, validation, integration
Study the new/changing regulations and makes suitable changes in RFQ/DVP
3Nature of problems faced/ Scope of improvement opportunities
Enhancement in design practices and process
Ensuring product conformity to standards and best practices
Driving product safety based on analytical and risk assessed approach
