      POST OF PROJECT ENGINEER II (AUTOMATION) (FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

      GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

      We are looking for excellent automation project engineer, who can take initiatives, design, develop and coordinate improvement projects with compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices, under the supervision and guidance of senior engineering staff.

      Work closely with R&D, Plant Engineering and Manufacturing team on machine and process improvement projects as well as capacity expansion projects.

      JOB ROLE

      · Lead transition of manufacturing processes from manual handling to (semi) automated.

      · Design, program, and implement automation control systems for manufacturing processes.

      · Configure and program PLCs, industrial robots, and other control devices.

      · Lead robotics and automation solution projects to implementation.

      · Ensure seamless integration with existing manufacturing equipment and systems.

      · Manage projects, ensuring they are within scope, budget, and time.

      · Identify automation opportunities in Ansell global plants and communicate suitable design ideas to senior management.

      · Support management in identifying global automation solution providers and maintain close relationship with them to develop automation solutions in Ansell plants.

      · Monitor performance indicators and support troubleshooting of automation systems.

      · Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

      · Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

      · Establish guidelines and collaborate with internal and external teams for design for automation.

      · Liaise between manufacturing and supporting departments for factory integration activities.

      · Develop feasibility studies and simulations/ prototypes for automation proposals.

      · Offering advice and technical support to the technical staff.

      · Ability to handle multiple projects and switch quickly and comfortably between projects.

      · Work effectively with other team members and maintain positive morale and sense of teamwork

      KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

      Education:

      BSc. Degree in Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/Control Engineering from a recognized university

      Job Experience: 1 - 2 years of professional experience control and automation would be preferred.

      Knowledge and Skills:

      · PLC Programming (Ladder / ST) and HMI Design and programming (c#, macros).

      · MATLAB/Simulink.

      · CAD Software (Solid Works / AutoCAD is preferred).

      · Robot programming (Forward dynamics, Backward dynamics and Trajectory Planning and Optimization)

      · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to present material to senior officials.

      · Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

      · Additional Requirements (travel, etc.).

      · Good communications skills including proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

      · Analytical skill.

      · Problem solving and decision making.

      · Ability to work effectively in teams.

      Additional Requirements (travel, etc.)

      · Willingness and legal ability to travel and work in the other Ansell sites.

      · Travel will be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or carrying out projects in plants. Estimate 40% of travels including local travels.
