      Toole Design Group in Denver, CO is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Multimodal Transportation Engineer.       A Day in the Life of a Multimodal Transportation Engineer

      As a Multimodal Transportation Engineer, you help design safer, more sustainable transportation networks. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver multimodal projects, from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes to signature trail projects, using tools like AutoCAD to produce high-quality plans. You manage tasks and small projects, coordinate with clients, and contribute to everything from feasibility studies and concept plans to construction documents. Your work helps make communities more connected and livable.


      We are targeting a salary range of $76,000 to $95,000 for this position.


      Work Schedule for a Multimodal Transportation Engineer

      This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home up to two days per week. The Denver office of Toole Design is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit.

      Requirements

      Qualifications of a Multimodal Transportation Engineer:

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering
      • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
      • 2+ years of experience
      • Proficiency in CADD (AutoCAD preferred)

      It would be a plus if you have any of the following:

      • A strong interest in multimodal and active transportation design, sustainability, and the opportunity to work on challenging projects that make communities more livable
      • Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS)
      • Experience coordinating utility, right-of-way, street lighting, traffic signals, and landscape and hardscape layout
      • Experience developing construction documents and cost estimates
      • Experience preparing conceptual design plans
      • Experience analyzing and designing stormwater infrastructure
      • Traffic engineering and Signal design experience
