What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Participate in design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, C#, SQL, and NoSQL databases, along with Azure tools and services
- Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience within a Java framework (J2EE, web containers, and Java)
- 2+ years of experience with architecture and design
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
- In-depth knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Programming experience with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#
- Understanding of microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
- Intermediate PowerShell scripting skills
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and security protocols such as Active Directory and OAuth
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
