- Responsible for the design and implementation of new technology and automation projects across the warehousing/transportation network
- Responsible for the design and execution of technology implementations
- Responsible for management of schedules and budgets for POT/POC, Pilots, and roll-outs
- Responsible for process/systems improvements across the warehousing and transportation network
- Work functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to drive projects to completion
- Establish and track key performance indicators that enable project success
- Support the Operations organization through implementation to ensure that project goals are met or exceeded
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial) or another related field. Must have BS degree by hire date. Master’s degree in Engineering or Business desirable. PE desirable
- Experience: Work experience in warehousing, transportation, or the food processing industry preferred. Intern experience will be considered.
- Computer Skills: Basic personal computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with AutoCAD. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems and SAP a plus
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Supervisory: Must have the ability to work autonomously given strategic vision, high-level objectives, and wide guardrails. Requires ability to function with high-level direction and communicate throughout the organization.
- Travel: Extensive travel (30%+) may be required
- Overseas travel may be required

Summary: This position will support the Warehouse and Transportation network by deploying automation solutions and technical expertise to achieve business, financial, and strategic objectives. Other responsibilities include: Working cross-functionally with the automation, maintain corporate design guidelines, and developing facility improvement strategies and plans that meet or exceed established business objectives. This position will report to the Senior Director of Engineering for Warehousing and Transportation. The expectations of the role include, but are not limited to:
