      Position Title: Engineering Intern

      Mission

      Provide process engineering support in both machining and assembly processes.

      Essential Functions and Key Accountabilities

      Validate current manufacturing processes to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and document, communicate and conduct training on improvements

      Analyze best practices and develop manufacturing processes to achieve plant objectives through problem solving

      Manage systems and process controls, documentation of projects and standard work instructions, and area tools and equipment

      Assist engineering team in other various operations productivity improvement or special projects

      Assist engineering team in processing, quoting, implementing, launching, and maintaining of engineering changes, and collaborate with other areas and provide shop floor support

      Recommend fixture and process designs, and assist engineering and quality team in customer corrective actions

      Perform additional responsibilities as required; position is subject to change as the needs of the department change

      Academic and Experience

      2 years of undergraduate studies working towards Bachelor degree in Engineering required

      Minimum of 2 years experience in process engineering

      Experience in automotive/manufacturing industry

      Knowledge of OSHA/Safety standards and practices
