  Role and Responsibilities

  Specific Job Duties: Learn, develop and enhance Frontend semiconductor/EDA build flows in python, perl and shell scripting languages. Technical writing and documentation related to usage of methodology flow tools, new enhancements/features which would help the users understand the tools better. Quickly root cause any flow/build/integration failures by debugging the python, perl or shell scripts, and provide resolution for user on those flow issues. Work with CAD team to deploy new automated flow methodology tools flows for semiconductor/EDA design. Identify areas of improvement in current semiconductor/EDA flows and propose ideas. Continuously collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure user's strategic needs are met.

  Skills and Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

  Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:
  1. Writing Perl scripts to automate feature testing and debugging;
  2. Developing continuous improvement procedures (CIPs) for semiconductor/EDA flows and methodologies;
  3. Ownership of semiconductor/EDA flows and methodologies;
  4. Monitor, debug and support semiconductor/EDA flow failures;
  5. Technical writing and documentation; and
  6. Implement continuous integration (CI) to automate builds and test flows.

  Total Rewards

  At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $124,217 and $144,217. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.

  Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
