      Work under supervision to prepare and provide data to expose the issues of current GPU architecture and

      to help to develop prototype for new architectural improvement. Work on new GPU features

      implementation such as Ray Tracing, Machine Learning, and AR/VR. Interface with architect, RTL

      designer and software engineer and understand the current GPU architecture. Collect performance data

      from current GPU architecture to help to expose issues. Work with the team to develop a prototype for

      new architectural improvement. Work with Ray Tracing algorithm implementation, AR/VR solution

      implementation, and machine learning environments.

      Minimum

      Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

      SPECIAL

      REQUIREMENTS:

      Completion of a graduate level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

      1. Machine learning algorithms;

      2. Computer vision algorithms; and

      3. AR/VR.

      Employer will accept skills gained in pursuit of university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships. Skills may be gained concurrently

      Total Rewards

      At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,091.00 and $180,211.00. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

      Samsung employees have access to benefits including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), free onsite lunch, employee purchase program, tuition assistance (after 6 months), paid time off, student loan program, wellness incentives, and many more. In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.

      Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
