- You will work with others to research, develop, test and evaluate information systems, analyzing design constraints and analyzing tradeoffs and detailed system and security design throughout the systems life-cycle.
- You will complete moderately complex tasks independently with minimal oversight, provide oversight, review, or mentor entry- and peerlevel engineers, and work with and/or lead others to accomplish moderately complex tasks.
- You will acquire, manage, and allocate resources to execute one or more complex projects. Anticipate and define customer needs and requirements for project execution.
- You will apply oral and written communication skills to interface effectively with personnel at all levels and has proven ability to support briefings or presentations to mid- to high-level stakeholders.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.

ND-03 (GS 9-11):
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band ND-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional performing work involving electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, or systems for the purposes of communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, or navigation.
ND-04 (GS 12-13):
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Leading engineering projects involving electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, or systems for the purposes of communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, or navigation.
