      SUMMARY

      An analyst position that manages the movement and coordination between several products and departments to meet the demands and product specifications for our customers.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      May include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Communicate with laboratory, operations, shipping, corporate planners and logistics for purposes of product clearances, transfers, and shipments, and equipment outages.
      • Coordinate the activities of the operators relating to the operating mode, product grades, and production quantities needed to meet customer requirements.
      • Review final product tank clearances to ensure customer specifications are met.
      • Review scheduled orders, maintain production rollouts (plans), and product inventories to meet shipment demands.
      • Prepare product inventory for End of Month reconciliation and closing and participate in the closing process.
      • Monitor product transfers for billing purposes. When required, coordinate with Records Dept for operations reporting.
      • Perform SQC reports quarterly and annually.
      • Perform and monitor all production postings and product movements in SAP.
      • Participating in planning major maintenance activities to coordinate production downtime.
      • Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints.
      • Serve as ISO Coordinator.
      • Serve as back-up to the Superintendent-Production, Planning.

      EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

      • Minimum of 1 year of operations, logistics, or quality control experience in various Derivatives and Chlor-Alkali operating units preferred.
      • Must be a strong communicator and able to manage complexity.
      • Technical degree and SAP experience preferred.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications required
      • Successful candidates must satisfy background screening, including motor vehicle record screening, drug testing & pre-employment physical requirements before starting work.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in a control room office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
