      Job Title- Test Automation Engineer, AVP

      Location- Pune

      Job Description

      As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be contributing to transformation initiatives in Test Automation for Cloud solutions across multiple domains. As Deutsche transitions towards Agile / DevOps and GCP, key requirement of this role is to design test automation framework and develop bespoke solutions for effective GCP migration and adoption. As an integral part of Test Automation team, you will be expected to recommend as well as imbibe best practices, fitment of tools and strategies.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Define Test Automation strategy and framework, recommend bespoke solutions and drive POCs
      • Foster continuous improvement through participation in working groups, Communities of Practice & retrospectives, producing bespoke capability to suit DB frameworks, development / enhancement of DB standards (risk assessment / planning / monitoring) .
      • Debugging skills: Automation test engineers need to be able to debug test scripts and identify and fix errors. This requires strong problem-solving skills. Interacting with team/customers /clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation.
      • Design and build test automation scripts using selenium, cucumber etc.
      • Design test automation framework
      • Collaborate with squads and leadership to ensure that Test Automation strategy is aligned with overall transformation objectives
      • Participate in the design of service automation in cloud towards Infrastructure-as-code
      • Use Github actions to setup CI/CD workflow and automate development process
      • Use Selenium Web Driver or Python to create workflow for Github actions
      • Define data access control (data masking) strategy as services are migrated to GCP
      • Collaborate with multiple feature / pod teams to resolve dependencies and blockers arising due to functional issues of components
      • Setup CI/CD workflows and automate development process

      Your skills and experience

      • Minimum of 10 years' experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages: Selenium Web Driver, Python, Unix/Linux Shell, JavaScript/Typescript with implementing continuous delivery
      • Experience of working on cloud/hybrid platforms (preferably GCP)
      • Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Docker and any container orchestration system and solution (GCP, AWS etc.)
      • Hands on experience in programming languages like Selenium Web Driver, Python, Java etc.
      • Experience in automation of REST API / Microservices testing
      • Knowledge of TeamCity and Jenkins
      • Experience using GitHub Actions, Git, GitHub or GitLab
      • Hands on experience with Services/ API automation and component automation with UI/ non- UI mode.
      • Deep understanding of various industrial leading open source tools Webdriver, Cypress, Playwright etc
      • Knowledge of backend automation
