      We are looking for you to join our team as a Software Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. This position is fully on-site.

      The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Manufacturing Test Equipment (TE) Operations Organization.

      What you'll get to do:

      • Design, development, documentation and verification of test equipment software
      • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with designers and software engineers in the planning, design and development of test equipment
      • Ability to determine test operator needs, analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls
      • Contribute to problem solving and troubleshooting efforts of software integration activities
      • Prepare operating instructions, design and development of compilers and Test Equipment GUIs
      • Complete tasks according to schedule, budget, cost, and design objectives

      The ideal candidate must have good verbal and written communications skills related to technical approaches, design interfaces, and statuses.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM discipline with an additional 2 years of professional experience, OR a Master’s degree in Software Engineering or related STEM discipline.
      • Experience working with C#
      • Code modification, debugging, and defect correction experience.
      • Experience with Git-based or other software configuration management tools
      • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience with software projects using Microsoft Visual Studio and development in C and Object Oriented C++/C#
      • Experience with MATLAB
      • Experience with source code control and issue tracking methodologies and tools
      • Active Secret Clearance

      Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
