Job Description
- Req#: 35425
- Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems, evaluation of concepts considering vehicle targets in terms of weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
- Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
- Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
- Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
- Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.
- Co-ordination between stake holders, system leads, Program team, Proto & Validation, Mfg, CDMM etc.
- Support in Build and Validation and lead CFT in concern resolution of the same.
- Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
- Knowledge of Frame design and Key design principles of other aggregates
- Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts
- DMU (Digital Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts)
- Hands on Experience on Catia & Team center PLM
- Exposure to Homologation requirements of Commercial Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation
- Hand on experience on coordination with of overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design and verification/validation
- Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management, manufacturing methods
- Knowledge of MPDS, APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools
