      Summary

      The incumbent is accountable for providing analytical and technical support to the Distribution Network Design organization. Activities support developing plans and detailed designs for expansion and maintenance of the electric distribution network system and supporting the distribution SOX and permitting functions.

      Key Roles & Responsibilities Directly or through others, the incumbent:

      • Assists in the maintenance, support, and development of the various applications and reporting systems required by the Distribution Network Design organization including the SOX and permitting functions.
      • Supports the administration of the Distribution Network Design website, server and SharePoints. Ensures accuracy, completeness and reliability of data. Assists in implementing improvements and performance enhancements when necessary.
      • Assists in training and documents processes to all users on new or modified applications and processes.
      • Assists in tracking of material for Distribution Network Design projects as needed.
      • Supports the querying various databases for historical information used for trending and analyses.
      • Assists in tracking the status and process flow of permit requests.
      • Assists in creating and maintaining performance dashboards.
      • Supports continual process improvement efforts.
      • Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.

      Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

      The minimum education and experience requirements are:

      • High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required with 0-4 years of experience in the electric utility industry or computer science fields.
      • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 0-3 years of electric utility experience is preferred.

      The minimum skill requirements are:

      • Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint – able to create dashboards and reports.
      • Knowledge and understanding of Oncor systems – WMIS, AEGIS, SOX, Maximo
      • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
      • Ability to work effectively as a team to achieve common goals.
      • Ability to identify and implement process improvement initiatives

      Measures of Success

      • Moderate supervision required.
      • Improved team performance on SOX compliance and Permit completions
      • Ensure projects receive material on time to meet project schedule.
      • Works across disciplines and functions to achieve the common goals and business purposes of the company.
      • Expresses ideas in individual or group situations.
