Who are you?

In this dynamic position, you'll be doing discovery and analysis of medical claims processing systems at Virgin Pulse + HealthComp organizations. The people (multiple teams), processes (workflows and roles and responsibilities) and technology (claims ecosystem technologies in data engineering, platform and technical operations)would be the different areas within the scope of not only discovery and analysis, but also gaps analysis, recommendations for improvement, and creating a implementation roadmap for modernization. In the next stage, you will also be given the opportunity to become part of the implementation teams, as software and data engineers.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties

• Become the process expert for your assigned claims system: Understand their intricacies, data landscape, and platform environment.
• Shadow current team members in data engineering, platform engineering and TechOps to understand current implementation, existing gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Produce technical documentation related to current processes, roles & responsibilities (such as RACI) and technologies.
• Communicate clearly and concisely: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Think outside the box: Approach problems with a creative mindset and find innovative and long-term sustainable solutions.

Security Competencies:

Work to ensure system and data security is maintained at a high standard, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Virgin Pulse application is not compromised. Ensure industry best practice coding standards are adhered to ensure all code developed at Virgin Pulse is free from bugs and security vulnerabilities, such as those defined and published by OWASP.
