      Engineering Apprenticeship - Leeds

      Salary: £22,308 per annum

      About the Role:

      Our Engineering Apprenticeship will give you the skills, knowledge and behaviours to become an Engineer maintaining some of the newest and fastest production lines. During our apprenticeship you will gain a mix of college based learning and real 'hands on' on the job experience, earning an attractive salary from day one. You will work towards achieving the level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard and on to a rewarding Engineering career, with the potential for further study at level 4 or above.

      Key Responsibilities:

      1. Attend college full time in year 1, complete all learning requirements to develop both hands-on skills and basic engineering underpinning knowledge
      2. For the following years, attend college on a day release basis to complete the necessary educational requirements for the programme
      3. Safely complete a variety of engineering practical tasks and jobs to support your college learning
      4. Work with and support Technicians to complete intrusive, planned & preventative maintenance schedules
      5. Support Technicians with breakdown maintenance across all production lines
      6. Timely completion of information within the computer-based maintenance programme (52 week plans)
      7. Drive personal development on the programme
      8. Learn about the business, soft drinks, and manufacturing; learning from others’ experience and knowledge with a clear vision about where we’re going and who we want to be.

      Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

      1. A lateral thinker – technically minded with an interest in how things work
      2. An aptitude towards hands on work and a strong interest in engineering
      3. The ability to work within a team while supporting and learning from those around you
      4. Excellent creative problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn
      5. The ability to use your own initiative
      6. Strong communication skills
      7. Vision, inclusive and the drive to keep on learning
      8. Practical, self-motivated and conscientious in meeting demanding targets and deadlines while following best practice standards

      Qualifications:

      1. You must have 5 GCSEs, including grades 4-9/A-C, or equivalent in maths and English and science
