      Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire its next enthusiastic and motivated Engineering Design Checker to join our team.
      -The selected candidate will be working with the Mechanical Engineering org as well as supporting Electrical, RF, Automated Test Equipment, Component and Circuit Card Design Engineers to ensure the quality of our technical data packages meet our customers’ expectations.

      - The selected candidate will examine engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, efficiency, and simplicity in design; completeness, clarity, and dimensional accuracy; correctness of materials and processes; conformity to design/drafting standards, design specifications, and practicability; and economy of fabrication, assembly, and installation.

      -The selected candidate will also create and maintain design and drafting standards, support all current design changes and new design reviews and releases for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Chelmsford/Westford business.

      -Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience.
      -Experience with the use of CREO or similar
      -Experience with the use of a Product Data Management / Product Lifecycle tool
      -Experience with the use GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
      -Proven capability to understand and review detailed drawings for proper incorporation and adherence to design standards.
      -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      -Candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start. -Experience with Electronics, machined components, Test Equipment, cable assemblies, Circuit cards
      -Experience with Windchill PDM (Product Data Management)
      -Experience with military and aerospace specifications.
      -Ability to manage multiple assignments
