Under the direction of the Lead Dispatcher, the incumbent receives and routes all calls regarding service and repair for the Engineering Department. Receives and routes Housekeeping requests, such as additional towels or pillows, and Environmental Service related calls. Responsible for placing follow up calls to ensure guests requests/needs are met. High School diploma or GED and one (1) year of related experience. Experience with MicroSoft Office software specifically in Word & Excel for windows preferred. Must become proficient with department-specific computer programs; Maximo and HotSOS. Must learn the layout of the entire resort, and learn to differentiate among the trades and individuals responsible for responding to each request. Must possess strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective telephone communications. Must possess good hearing and good organizational skills. Bilingual preferred. Position requires prolonged periods of sitting, writing, keyboarding and telephone interaction in a command center that is fast-paced and occasionally hectic environment.
