Job Description
- Req#: 4606
- Development, deployment and governance on Engineering Tools and Processes (e.g. New Product development processes, Product Lifecycle Management)
- Define the World Class Engineering Master Plan, develop the WCE and Lean Product Development Route Maps and supervise the initiatives of continuous improvement in Engineering space.
- Define KPIs roadmap definition based on Engineering priorities.
- Stimulate the research and the application of new engineering methodologies.
- Analyse the main trends of patent activities on the Ariston Group product categories, ensuring the effective management of Intellectual Property.
- Coordinate Value Analysis and Cost Management initiatives.
- Coordination of simulations services support to Engineering teams.
- Report to the organization the progress of various projects.
- Promote and support Engineering Excellence Transformation Projects in collaboration with Technology & Innovation Team and Group Business Units.

The Group offers a full range of products, solutions and services mainly under the global brands Ariston, Elco and Wolf, and also operates under iconic brands such as Calorex, NTI, HTP, Chaffoteaux, Atag, Brink, Chromagen, Racold, as well as Thermowatt and Ecoflam in the components and burners business.In your role as Engineering Excellence Director, reporting to our Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, you will be responsible for driving our global program to strengthen the performance of our global Engineering. You ensure consistent deployment of state-of-the-art engineering processes, tools and methodologies. You lead our global engineering services across the different product platforms to enable excellence standard in our Engineering by applying technology solutions and automation projects. You will coach ‘n lead a team of Technologies Services (e.g. Intellectual property, Simulations, PLM), World Class Engineering and Cost & Value analysis,

Your main responsibilities include
As our ideal candidate you will make a difference with your hands-on approach and drive to partner extensively across our global Engineering organization to influence, drive, and deliver change. You are as self-starter and feel comfortable and excited to lead and drive excellence projects. You bring minimum 10 years’ experience in progressive R&D roles and Engineering Excellence Program Management gained in prior experiences in global international leading organizations and increasingly complex matrixed environments. You bring large scale change opportunities experiences to life through storytelling, fact-based orientation, and using advanced analytics to inform complex decision making. You bring strong engineering expertise with specific focus on new product development and product lifecycle management. You easily interact with business internal customers and have strong team management and leadership skills. You are an exceptional critical thinker with an innovative and open-mind approach. You love to work in a results based, fast paced environment with minimal supervision
Availability to travel and proficiency in English are basic requirements.
Location: The role is based in Milan/Fabriano with the opportunity of some remote working (in a hybrid environment.
