Job Description
- Req#: 540985
- Perform routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under supervision
- Use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation
- Assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations
- Provide support to engineering staff members as needed
- In progress toward earning a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a civil engineering program (ABET-accredited), preferably at a junior level or above
- At least a 3.0 GPA
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Previous design intern experience preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
