      Job Title

      Engineering Intern

      Works in assigned area assisting with projects or work overload. This job is to be used with current Bachelors or Masters Degree students.

      Position Overview: As an Engineering Intern at CoorsTek, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, contributing to the development and enhancement of our processes, products, and equipment. This hands-on role offers you the opportunity to work alongside seasoned engineers and production staff, gaining invaluable experience across various facets of manufacturing.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Conduct analysis of metallization processes and equipment to identify best options for new products.
      • Set up and execute design of experiments (DOE) to validate and refine manufacturing processes and product designs.
      • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
      • Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving to address technical issues and ensure smooth production operations.
      • Proficiency in CAD software to assist in product and process design tasks.
      • Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates effectively.
      • Utilize finite element analysis (FEA) techniques to simulate and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment performance.

      Qualifications:

      • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is preferred.
      • Previous experience with manufacturing processes or equipment is a plus.

      Target Hiring Range

      Hourly: USD 20.00 - USD 21.00
