Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Intern in Seneca, SC to join our Power Systems organization for Summer 2024. What will you do? Work with other engineers and designers to ensure quality output for our assembly and quality control teams Work across departments in making recommendations for alternate parts that can be procured Review drawings and bills of materials released from engineering for accuracy and consistency Determine part substitutions that can be made to support complete and timely shipment of the low voltage motor control centers Work with designers and engineers to create process maps to develop best practices and robotic process automations to free up our energy What qualifications will make you successful? Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with a graduation date of December 2024 or later Strong interpersonal skills for working directly with internal and external customers including end users, integrators, contractors, consultants, sales personnel, project managers, order engineers, designers, QC technicians, customer service, procurement and plant manufacturing personnel Good working knowledge of Low Voltage Motor Control Center equipment construction Basic understandings of plant level operations and the various groups required for successful operation We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.
