- Provide support to the Turnkey engineering team by assisting with the design and development of APM systems.
- Conduct measurements and calculations to verify design specifications
- Research materials and components to ensure compatibility and reliability
- Contribute to technical reports and documentation
- Participate in team meetings, providing input as required
- Collaborate with other departments
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of the job
- Currently enrolled in a local college in a Mechanical/Material Science/Electrical Engineering major.
- Minimum Sopho more Year completed. Junior year preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to work successfully in team environments and communicate effectively.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and balance multiple tasks.
- Strong computer skills, Autocad skills are a plus.

Role Summary:
Alstom has an opening for a Mechanical/Material Science/Electrical Engineer intern in its Pittsburgh, PA location. Reporting to the Manager of the Project Engineering Group, the intern supports the North American Turnkey Engineering Center, Technical Design Authority for Automated People Mover (APM) systems. This is a full-time summer internship role.
