- Work with end users to assist in issues that may arise in using the application such as configuring the JDE applications, the creation of users, fixing JDE batch issues, and other maintenance tasks.
- Trouble shooting and resolution of Oracle JDE ERP incidents, and manage systems integrations to/from JDE Edwards
- Create reports using AS/400 query, JDE World Writer and client reporting tools.
- Assist users in transferring data using FTP and iSeries data transfer tools.
- Perform triaging, resolve tickets, and manage SLAs by implement break-fixes.
- Implement permanent solution by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the incidents.
- Review existing solutions, identify opportunities for continuous improvements, and perform enhancements to systems.
- Must be willing to work in shifts, provide hand-over to global teams, and provide on-call support during off-business hours.
- JD Edwards World ERP Software & integration experience required.
- Experience working in Managed services environment providing application support, with strong knowledge on IT Service Management (ITSM) process including incident, request, and problem management.
- Experience working with cross functional teams.
- Proficient utilizing Reports Now reporting tools is a plus.
- Good functional understanding and configuration of JD Edwards systems in one of the four areas is a plus: (1) Finance & Accounting, (2) Land development and Construction management, (3) Purchasing and Sales, and (4) Master data and Reporting
